How will the auctioneer know I’m bidding?
During an online auction, the click of your mouse is the same as raising your hand at the auction house. The only difference is that your anonymous bid is displayed on a screen as “Online” bidder.
Some other things you might like to know about real-time bidding include:
- live audio and video/still photos are posted while its happening
- your bid is submitted the instant you click your mouse
- the auction market updates the live bid to you in real-time
- your bidding privileges are equal to those of in-house bidders
- comprehensive reports such as daily buyers, total and average weights, lots, animals sold and other auction data are available online
